The Technology Services team plays a critical role in ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance IT systems across office networks, cloud identity, device management, and user access governance.

Role Overview

The Technology Services Engineer will design, deploy, and support secure network infrastructure and end-user computing environments. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Cloud, Cisco Meraki networking, device management, identity governance, and compliance operations. You will be responsible for ensuring secure access, reliable connectivity, and compliance-driven IT operations for the organization.


Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure

  • Design and maintain secure office Wi-Fi networks using Cisco Meraki

  • Configure VLANs, SSIDs, VPNs, guest networks, firewall rules, and traffic shaping

  • Perform RF site surveys, heat maps, and capacity planning for office spaces

  • Maintain network documentation including diagrams, inventory, and change logs

  • Troubleshoot WAN, LAN, and VPN issues, ensuring minimal downtime


End-User Computing & Policy Governance

  • Manage Microsoft Intune policies for device compliance, encryption, software deployment, conditional access

  • Administer Microsoft 365 security and retention policies across Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive

  • Manage Windows and macOS endpoints, enforce access controls using EntraID

  • Implement GPO, DLP, MFA, RBAC, and regulatory compliance controls


Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing

  • Develop IT documentation, SOPs, standards, and best practices

  • Mentor junior engineers and support teams on troubleshooting and ITSM processes


Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance security, scalability, and efficiency

  • Support automation initiatives using PowerShell or Meraki APIs


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

  • Master’s degree is an added advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or system administration

  • Experience in regulated environments such as finance or banking

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of core network concepts (DNS, VPN, load balancing)

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki networking

  • Strong expertise in Intune, EntraID, and Microsoft 365 security and governance

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical topics clearly

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving environments

Preferred Certifications

  • CMNA

  • Microsoft 365 Certifications (MD-102, SC-300)

  • ITIL v4 Foundation

  • PowerShell scripting knowledge is a plus
