Job Summary

The SAP PM Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance solutions. The role involves analyzing business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules, and supporting maintenance processes to enhance operational efficiency.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP PM functionalities.

  • Configure and customize SAP PM modules including Equipment Master, Functional Locations, Maintenance Planning, Work Orders, and Notifications.

  • Handle end-to-end implementation and support projects.

  • Integrate SAP PM with modules like MM, SD, and PP.

  • Support preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

  • Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and developments.

  • Conduct user training and create documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–8 years of experience in SAP PM.

  • Strong expertise in SAP PM configuration and support.

  • Experience in Maintenance Orders and Notifications.

  • Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance processes.

  • Understanding of SAP MM and PP integration.

  • Experience in data migration and master data management.

  • Strong understanding of plant maintenance business processes.

  • Ability to handle AMS/support and implementation projects. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.

  • Knowledge of SAP CS (Customer Service) module.

  • Exposure to SAP Fiori Apps.

  • Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging.

  • SAP PM Certification (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
