Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for driving business analysis activities and supporting project delivery across complex, collaboration-intensive initiatives. The role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, managing stakeholders, tracking project progress, and ensuring successful execution aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements through workshops, discussions, and stakeholder interactions.
- Act as the primary interface between business teams, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making processes.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across complex business initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Support project planning activities including scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Track requirements, milestones, action items, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives and governance standards.
- Create and maintain project documentation including BRDs, FRDs, process flows, status reports, and decision logs.
- Monitor project delivery progress and support issue resolution.
- Develop reports and dashboards to provide visibility into project status and health metrics.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies and requirement gathering techniques.
- Strong understanding of project management concepts and delivery lifecycles.
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders across business and IT functions.
- Experience working on collaboration-intensive, cross-functional projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools.
- Experience with governance-driven and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience in enterprise-scale transformation programs.
- Exposure to data-centric initiatives and governance frameworks.
