Role Summary
We are hiring a senior commercial leader for the role of Head – SPT Channel (National) to lead the Specialty Pet Trade (SPT) channel at a national level. This role owns the overall strategy, revenue, P&L, distribution expansion, team leadership, and national partnerships for the SPT business.
The position is critical to driving scale, consistency, and execution excellence across regions.
Key Responsibilities

Build, own, and manage the national SPT channel P&L

Appoint and develop distributors across West & South regions

Drive monthly revenue growth, city expansion, and channel penetration

Design and implement trade schemes, pricing slabs, and visibility strategies

Lead and manage Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and ensure execution discipline

Build and maintain relationships with national and regional pet chains

Drive sales forecasting accuracy, distributor hygiene, and performance tracking

Set channel strategy, operating rhythm, and growth roadmap
Experience & Skill Requirements

8–15 years of sales experience in the pet industry

Proven experience managing multi-city and multi-regional sales teams

Strong exposure to specialty trade / modern trade channels

Demonstrated ability to own P&L and scale distribution

Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills

Willingness to travel nationally as required
