Job Summary
The Computer Vision Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying computer vision and machine learning solutions for real-world applications. The role focuses on image and video analytics, object detection, object tracking, image recognition, deep learning model development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable AI-powered computer vision systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement computer vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, and recognition.
- Develop, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for computer vision applications.
- Work with large-scale image and video datasets for model training and validation.
- Collaborate with engineers and researchers to develop and deploy production-ready computer vision solutions.
- Optimize model performance for accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
- Research and adopt the latest advancements in computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning technologies.
- Contribute to end-to-end AI solution development and deployment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. (The JD also states candidates with less than 5 years of experience will not be considered.)
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Hands-on experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with OpenCV or similar computer vision libraries.
- Strong understanding of computer vision algorithms and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment..
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing production-grade computer vision applications.
- Exposure to image processing and video analytics.
- Familiarity with AI model optimization and deployment best practices.
