About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Integration Specialist with deep hands-on expertise in modern integration and ETL/ELT platforms. This is a critical technical role responsible for managing, optimizing, and evolving enterprise-grade data integration systems.
You will ensure stability, scalability, security, and high performance across multiple data integration tools, while supporting a 24/7 operational environment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, technically strong, and capable of driving platform excellence in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Management & Optimization

  • Administer, configure, and optimize core data integration platforms.

  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap and evolution of the integration landscape.

  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.

2. Platform Operations

  • Monitor platform performance, identify issues, and execute optimization strategies.

  • Perform capacity planning and ensure high availability.

  • Apply DevOps principles to automate deployments, monitoring, and operations (CI/CD pipelines).

3. Operational Excellence (24/7 Support)

  • Provide expert-level guidance and troubleshooting for complex integrations.

  • Handle incidents, problem management, and change management activities.

  • Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule for platform stability.

4. Architecture, Standards & Documentation

  • Collaborate with architects to define and maintain integration patterns and best practices.

  • Create and maintain documentation: configuration details, runbooks, SOPs, architecture diagrams.

5. Technical Leadership & Best Practices

  • Provide technical guidance to developers on platform usage and optimal integration design.

  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and performance guidelines.

6. Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization.

  • Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies that enhance platform efficiency.

7. Risk Management & Quality Assurance

  • Proactively identify risks related to stability, performance, and security.

  • Develop and execute test strategies for platform upgrades, patches, and new capabilities.


Required Qualifications & Skills

Mandatory Technical Expertise

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-grade data integration platforms.

  • Strong experience in managing, configuring, and optimizing large-scale integration systems.

  • Deep expertise (or willingness to master) tools such as:
    OIC, Kafka, Fivetran, Boomi, Workato.

  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in high-performance, fast-paced technical environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Working knowledge of DevOps practices in a data platform context.

  • Experience with data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.

  • Familiarity with platform performance monitoring & logging tools.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
