Job Summary
The ServiceNow Professional Application Developer is responsible for developing and enhancing ServiceNow applications and portals with a strong focus on modern front-end technologies. The role involves building scalable solutions, integrating enterprise systems, and delivering high-quality user experiences through micro front-end architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow applications based on business requirements.
- Design and implement micro front-ends using TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
- Create and customize ServiceNow portals, widgets, templates, and pages.
- Extend out-of-the-box modules such as Knowledge Management.
- Build scripted APIs and integrate with third-party platforms (AI, analytics, reporting).
- Configure export sets and data feeds for reporting.
- Collaborate with QA, stakeholders, and partners for timely delivery.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues using ServiceNow tools and logs.
- Ensure accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive UI standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Glide, Flow Designer).
- Experience in micro front-end technologies (TypeScript, React, NextJS).
- Hands-on experience in portal and widget development.
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Strong understanding of front-end development, UX standards, and performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience in telecom (Telco) domain.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
