Job Summary
The DaaS (Device-as-a-Service) Service Owner is responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of end-user devices including laptops, desktops, and peripherals within a Device-as-a-Service model. The role focuses on service ownership, vendor governance, device lifecycle management, cost optimization, and ensuring an enhanced end-user experience aligned with business and IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the DaaS service lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning.
- Define and maintain service scope, SLAs, KPIs, and governance standards.
- Manage device lifecycle activities including procurement, provisioning, deployment, refresh, and disposal.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure adherence to contracts and service standards.
- Forecast device demand and manage inventory for operational continuity.
- Ensure integration and maintenance within ServiceNow for asset, CMDB, and workflow management.
- Manage device-related budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization activities.
- Monitor device support performance and improve user experience metrics.
- Track and report KPIs including fulfillment timelines, incident trends, and SLA adherence.
- Drive Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years of experience in IT Service Management or Device Lifecycle Management.
- Strong expertise in Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) operations.
- Experience in device lifecycle management and workplace services.
- Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow integration and workflows.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs.
- Strong understanding of CMDB, Service Level Management (SLM), and IT asset management.
- Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.
- Certifications in ITIL, ServiceNow, or Servity preferred.
- Experience in large-scale IT transformations and transition projects.
- Knowledge of financial management integration and service governance frameworks.
