Job Summary

The Senior Developer – Global Vehicle Health is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based applications for vehicle connectivity and IoT solutions. The role focuses on microservices architecture, Java SpringBoot development, Azure cloud technologies, and data-intensive applications while driving Agile and DevOps best practices.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using microservices architecture.
  • Build and maintain microservices using Java SpringBoot.
  • Develop RESTful APIs for seamless front-end and back-end integration.
  • Work on Azure-based IoT applications with heavy data processing.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using Identity Access Management systems.
  • Optimize application performance and responsiveness.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps/GitHub for CI/CD processes.
  • Monitor applications using Azure Application Insights and Grafana dashboards.
  • Lead Agile development practices and DevOps methodologies.
  • Mentor team members and drive competency development.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and SpringBoot.
  • Expertise in Azure services and cloud-native development.
  • Experience in Microservices architecture and containerization.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB).
  • Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Experience in IoT and vehicle connectivity platforms.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Grafana and Azure Application Insights.
  • Experience leading Agile and DevOps initiatives.
