Job Summary
The Senior Program Manager – Network & Data Center is responsible for defining enterprise infrastructure strategy, leading global network and data center transformation programs, and driving architecture governance across hybrid infrastructure environments. The role focuses on network modernization, data center strategy, automation, capacity planning, infrastructure FinOps, enterprise architecture, operational excellence, and leading global infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute enterprise Network & Data Center strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Lead global infrastructure transformation and modernization initiatives across network and data center environments.
- Develop enterprise architecture blueprints, High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), reference architectures, and technology standards.
- Govern enterprise infrastructure architecture, technology selection, and standardization initiatives.
- Define enterprise capacity planning strategies for compute, storage, network, and database infrastructure.
- Drive Infrastructure FinOps initiatives including budgeting, investment planning, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and Return on Investment (ROI) modeling.
- Lead automation-first initiatives using APIs, orchestration frameworks, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency through automation.
- Develop technology roadmaps supporting digital transformation, scalability, and future business growth.
- Establish governance frameworks for architecture, service delivery, lifecycle management, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive service standardization, reusable architecture patterns, deployment models, and operational excellence.
- Lead globally distributed teams of network and data center architects while mentoring technical talent and promoting continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Application, and Operations teams to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
- Manage strategic technology partners, managed service providers, and vendor relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate architecture review boards, governance forums, and executive steering committees across global stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 15–18 years of experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture.
- Strong expertise in Enterprise Networking and Data Center Architecture.
- Experience defining enterprise technology strategy for Network and Data Center domains.
- Deep knowledge of virtualization, compute, storage, backup, databases, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience with enterprise architecture governance and technology standardization.
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure Automation, APIs, Orchestration, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Experience with Capacity Planning, Infrastructure FinOps, budgeting, and investment planning.
- Hands-on experience leading global infrastructure transformation programs.
- Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation modernization strategies.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, Cisco ISE, Network Access Control (NAC), enterprise security architecture, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Experience leading globally distributed infrastructure and architecture teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering,
- Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- Experience with cloud modernization and hybrid infrastructure transformation.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks and governance methodologies.
- Relevant certifications in networking, cloud, enterprise architecture, or infrastructure technologies.
