Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise DevOps infrastructure with a focus on container orchestration, CI/CD automation, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), deployment management, and system monitoring. The role ensures secure, scalable, and highly available application delivery across cloud and on-premise environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms for container orchestration and application deployment.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent IaC tools.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment and release management processes.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure platform reliability and high availability.
  • Build, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker.
  • Implement DevOps security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Configure and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools.
  • Support disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, scalability, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Maintain version control repositories and support collaborative development workflows using Git.
  • Continuously improve DevOps processes, automation frameworks, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes administration.
  • Expertise in Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and system administration concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and version control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • OpenShift or Kubernetes Certification.
  • Experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Knowledge of Helm Charts and ArgoCD.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
