2. Context and Job Purpose

Its Group Digital and IT (GDI IT) division is responsible for defining, implementing, and managing the Group’s Information Systems and Network policy.
The Project Manager manages different studies and projects assigned by the Network Delivery Team Manager.
3. Main Activities and Responsibilities
The Project Manager will be in charge of:
Project Management
- Managing SGN transformation projects, including WAN transformation, HW upgrades, Backbone upgrades, and VRF Segmentations.
- Defining project implementation plans for these projects.
- Coordinating Delivery projects.
- Formalizing project documentation (project plans, operational procedures, communications, presentations, action plans).
- Reporting.
- Risk and issues escalation when required.
- Managing studies for potential link upgrades and coordinating the implementation phase.
- Assisting senior project managers on complex studies or projects (project management on part of the scope).
Capacity Planning Activities
- Formalization and communication of the Hardware Capacity planning on a monthly basis.
- Participation in the monthly SGNet backbone capacity planning.
- Gateway data collection.
- Unusual peaks analysis.
- Bandwidth evolution presentation.
- Monthly consolidated capacity planning report formalization and communication.
- Network analysis and remediation tasks coordination to limit bandwidth increase.
Contract Officer Role
- Contract management for one or more contracts.
- Managing the relationship with the operator under the RUN phase.
- Responsible for monitoring the compliance with commitments (SLA).
- Organizing and leading governance committees.
4. Required Skills and Experience
Experience and Education
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an international context.
- Previous position of 1+ year in a network operator company.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Hard Skills
- WAN: IP, MPLS, xDSL, Ethernet, Fiber, IPsec, SSL.
- SDWAN.
- LAN, Wifi, FW.
- WDM, DWDM.
- MAN.
- Internet / Extranet, RAS.
- Familiarity with the technical environment: WAN, SDWAN, MAN, Backbone, RAS, Internet/Extranet, LAN, Wifi, Segmentation, datacenters, HW.
Soft Skills / Qualifications
- Autonomous and proactive.
- Project management experience, with the ability to work on multiple topics/projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
